We flew into Kuching on May 24th. It was pouring rain when we got off the plane which made it a little difficult for us to look around for a place to stay. Luckily we had the Rough Guide for Malaysia so we booked into Nomads, what a great hostel!
We went to the Sarawak museum which was really good. They had a lot of information on Sarawak's culture, history and wildlife.

Kuching means cat in Malaysian, so there are statues of cats all over town! It's pretty funny..
